New Song Released!

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE! This is my second Monday of Spring Break (boo!!), but I am enjoying relaxing, writing, and prepping for the CD release! WHICH... should be very soon. :) We have a final meeting with the CD manufacturers on Friday, so everything will be finalized and sent off to the printer's this weekend! I am not sure about the turn around time for the production, but it should be about a week or so. So, the new record will be on sale shortly! :)

Last Monday, two emails were sent out... and I am not sorry!! HaHa! :) The second email you received (if you didn't... you are not on my email list! My friend Mary discovered this great new-ish artist, Hunter Hayes , who is opening for Taylor Swift on some of her tour dates this summer. He is GREAT - he is 19, sings like Gary from Rascal Flatts and plays all of the instruments on his single "Storm Warning" (which is so catchy, you will be singing it for DAYS!). He is really sweet too - he took the time to listen to my music when I sent it to him, which was so kind... but he is sweet to all of his fans, which is incredibly refreshing to see in a rising star! I highly suggest you go check him out (especially you ladies! He's a looker!). 

In other news, my favorite American Idol this year, Scotty McCreery, told one of his fans that he plans on going to Belmont University for college!! WOOHOO! How cool would that be to see him around campus?! I thought that was really exciting. All my Belmont friends and I were definitely excited to hear that! :)

I don't have much else to say tonight! Next week, I will have a CD release date for you all! FINALLY!!! Have a fantastic rest of your week. I hope Easter was fantastic for everyone. It was a joyous day in our house, with family and friends gathered to celebrate the Risen Lord together! :) And... the Easter bunny visited and brought me purple Peeps! The. Best. Ever. I LOVE YOU!
