Lets Do Somethin' About It!!

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you! Wow. I am beyond exhausted from this exhilarating weekend! I had the time of my life Saturday night, performing at Country at the Merc again. This show was a special 'Songwriter's Night', featuring myself and three other fantastic artists. I had the sheer privilege of performing with Hayley Stayner, Kristi Krause, and Jill Calkins. Everyone was phenomenal. The amount of talent that was in that venue is beyond words. You will have to go check those ladies out. You won't be sorry!

My performance was so exciting! I was honored to be supported by Ken Rash, my fantastic producer and co-writer, on guitar, Becky Rash, my other wonderful producer and co-writer, filling in backup vocals for Jackie, and the always adorable Aja Alycean rocking her backup vocals. It is so exciting to sing with these amazing individuals. I cannot wait until our band is complete. It brings me lots of joy to know I have the support and talent of these people. Not much else has gone on this week in the music world! We are still working on vocals for the three new tracks, so stay tuned for those! I took my ACT Test on Saturday morning. I thought it went well! It was much easier and faster than the SAT in my mind. I am finishing up my college application right now, which is going well! Everything is getting a little stressful, but as soon as application/testing season is over, I will feel much better! :)
