"Unfortunately I do not have any contact with them.  I'm sure you could find a way to get a hold of them.  If any of you at ARC have an account with soundclick.com, you could find the guy who is the brainchild behind Periphery. …"

What Artist should be featured on ARC and why?
Periphery is a group which absolutely must be featured on ARC. They are a progressive metal group who are extraordinarily talented in every aspect of their music. Next to Meshuggah, they are probably one of the most prominent bands to display a style of progressive metal that has been given the term "Djent":: A complex metal style making heavy use of polyrhythm/polymeter. What separates bands like Periphery from former djent bands like Meshuggah is that they also have an excellent sense of melody. This is a trait that shows an exceptional amount of musicianship which, in my own opinion, far surpasses that of many of todays top selling artists. In short, This is a group which shows true musicianship which in missing in today's mainstream music. It shows no need, nor any desire, to water down musical talent for the sake of following ridiculous trends.
